The 2023 Buick Enclave is offered in three trim levels: Essence, Premium and Avenir. All models are powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine producing 310 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic gearbox. The Enclave gets front-wheel drive standard. All-wheel drive is optional.
EPA-estimated fuel economy for the 2023 Enclave is rated at 18 mpg city/26 mpg highway with front-wheel drive and 17 mpg city/25 mpg highway with all-wheel drive.*
Kelley Blue Book gives the 2023 Buick Enclave high marks, writing:
"The Buick Enclave is a happy medium between mainstream and luxury midsize SUVs. It's more premium than a midsize SUV from a mainstream brand like the Chevrolet Traverse but more affordable than a true luxury SUV like the Audi Q7. ... It has a quiet, comfortable ride, and the standard V6 engine provides plenty of power. It also has a spacious interior with a third row of seats you can actually use, plus a lot of cargo space."
Inside, the driver and passengers will enjoy ample head and leg room. The second-row captain's chairs are a welcome feature, and the third row gets a three-seat 60/40-split folding bench. Everyone will enjoy the cabin's premium look and feel, especially the standard leather upholstery in the first and second rows.
Cargo space is also abundant in the 2023 Buick Enclave. The Enclave has 23.6 cubic feet of cargo space with the seats in use. Fold the third row down, and you'll have 57.7 cubic feet at your disposal. With the second and third rows folded, there are an immense 97.4 cubes.
The base Essence trim gets plenty of standard features, including proximity keyless entry, push-button start, leather upholstery, heated power-adjustable front seats, a hands-free liftgate, and three-zone automatic climate control.
