Idaho Falls Buick GMC Dealer
The 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited is a carryover of the 2021 Sierra 1500. GM will sell the Limited at dealerships like the Idaho Falls Buick GMC dealer while GM prepares to release the redesigned Sierra 1500 this spring. The 2022 Sierra 1500 Limited loses the 2021 model's V6 engine and six-speed automatic gearbox. The base Sierra 1500 trim is now called Pro. The MultiPro tailgate is now standard on the SLE and higher trims.

Sierra 1500 Limited Trim Levels
According to the Idaho Falls Buick GMC dealer, the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited comes in six trim levels: Pro, SLE, Elevation, SLT, AT4 and Denali. The Sierra 1500 Limited is available in three cab configurations.

GMC Sierra 1500 Limited Pro
The base Sierra 1500 Limited Pro trim is powered by a turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque, teamed to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It comes with 17-inch steel wheels, LED headlights, semi-automatic climate control, a tilt-only steering wheel, vinyl or cloth seats, vinyl flooring, a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and two USB ports. Double Cab and Crew Cab models get power windows and door locks and a six-speaker stereo system.
GMC Sierra 1500 Limited SLE
The Sierra 1500 Limited SLE trim comes with the features of the Pro. It adds an automatic-locking rear differential, keyless entry and ignition, body-colored door handles, a heated leather-wrapped tilt/telescoping steering wheel, a power-adjustable driver's seat, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, tinted rear windows and LED bed lighting. Also standard is the MultiPro tailgate, cruise control, an 8-inch touchscreen, and two more USB ports.
GMC Sierra 1500 Limited Elevation
The Sierra 1500 Limited Elevation starts with the equipment of the SLE trim and adds 20-inch wheels, a remote-locking tailgate and LED foglights.
GMC Sierra 1500 Limited SLT
The Sierra 1500 Limited SLT trim is equipped with a 5.3-liter V8 engine that puts out 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque, teamed to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. An available 6.3-liter V8 produces 420 hp and 460 lb-ft. It's mated to a 10-speed automatic. Standard features include 18-inch wheels, chrome exterior trim, heated and power-folding mirrors, leather upholstery, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, trailer hitch guidance assist, a trailer brake controller, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 120-volt power outlet.
GMC Sierra 1500 Limited AT4
The Sierra 1500 Limited AT4 is motivated by a standard 3.0-liter inline-six turbo-diesel engine that makes 277 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, linked to a ten-speed automatic. The 6.2-liter V8 is available. Standard features include four-wheel drive with low-range gearing, an exclusive suspension with monotube shock absorbers and a 2-inch lift, Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac Mud Terrain tires, skid plates, hill descent control and recovery hooks.
GMC Sierra 1500 Limited Denali
The top-line Sierra 1500 Limited Denali trim is powered by the 5.3-liter V8. It gets the same equipment as the SLT and adds 20-inch wheels, a two-speed transfer case (four-wheel-drive models), an adaptive suspension, a power-sliding rear window, ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, a digital instrument cluster, a Bose premium stereo system, side steps and wireless phone charging. Also standard is a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and parking sensors.
