GMC recommends bringing your truck for maintenance visits at 7,500-mile intervals. During your first visit, our certified service technicians will change your Sierra 1500's oil and replace the oil filter. This important maintenance service will allow the engine to continue to run smoothly and efficiently. This visit also includes a tire rotation to keep the tires from wearing unevenly. The services included in the 7,500-mile maintenance visit will be repeated during every subsequent visit.
Every 22,500 Miles
This visit includes the services listed above, plus a replacement of the vehicle's cabin air filter. This part traps dirt, dust, pollen, and other impurities, preventing them from getting into the cabin. If the cabin air filter becomes clogged, you may notice the air conditioning system running less effectively. If your 2022 Sierra 1500 is a four-wheel-drive model, the service technicians will also change the transfer fluid.
Every 45,000 Miles
When the odometer reaches 45,000 miles, the technicians will replace the engine air filter and check the truck's evaporative control system.
