The automotive media gives the 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 HD excellent reviews. Car and Driver writes:
"Don't let the top-of-the-line Denali trim fool you, the 2022 GMC Sierra HD is more workhorse than show pony. Sure, both the 2500HD and 3500HD versions can be covered in chrome and outfitted with rich leather, but even in their fanciest form the GMC twins are tremendously capable. They offer a powerful and refined Duramax diesel, a neat multifunction tailgate, and myriad trailer-assist technology."
Standard features for the base Sierra 3500 HD Pro trim include 18-inch steel wheels, manually adjustable front seats, LED headlights and taillights, vinyl seats and floor coverings, manually adjustable trailering mirrors, a 40/20/40-split front bench seat, a locking tailgate, cargo bed steps, a spare tire carrier and a trailering hitch. The infotainment system comes with a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and two USB ports.
Step up to the range-topping Denali trim, and you'll get 20-inch alloy wheels, heated and cooled leather-covered front seats, chrome exterior trim, automatic high-beam headlights, a power-sliding rear window, side steps, a bed-view camera, a 360-degree high-definition camera system, a seven-speaker Bose premium audio setup, navigation and wireless charging.
Advanced safety features that come standard on the Denali include a forward collision mitigation system, parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, and lane departure warning. Some of these safety features are optional on the lower trims.
