The 2023 GMC Acadia comes in four trim levels, listed as SLE, SLT, AT4 and Denali. Powering the SLE and SLT is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine developing 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The AT4 and Denali are equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 producing 310 hp and 271 lb-ft. This powerplant is optional for the SLT. Both engines are coupled to a nine-speed automatic transmission. According to the Rexburg GMC dealership, the AT4 comes with all-wheel drive. The other trims get standard front-wheel drive and optional all-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel economy is rated up to 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.*

The Acadia's cabin is a place you'll love spending time in. The upmarket interior features modern styling and many soft-touch surfaces. An active noise cancellation system ensures the cabin is shielded from wind and road noise. A Smart Slide system allows passengers to quickly get in and out of the third row. Safety is a foremost consideration in all GMC vehicles. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the 2023 GMC Acadia its highest overall safety rating of five stars. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety hasn't tested the 2023 Acadia yet. However, the organization gave the 2022 model the top score of Good in all crash tests. The results for the current model should be identical.
