The SLE, SLT, and AT4 trims come with a 5.3-liter V8 engine that develops 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The Denali and Denali Ultimate are equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 that generates 420 hp and 460 lb-ft. This engine is available on the AT4. The SLE, SLT, Denali, and Denali Ultimate can be equipped with an optional 3.0-liter turbodiesel six-cylinder engine that puts out 277 hp and 460 lb-ft. All powerplants are connected to a 10-speed automatic gearbox. The AT4 comes with four-wheel drive, and the other trims get standard rear-wheel drive and available four-wheel drive.

The GMC Yukon seats up to eight passengers comfortably. If you opt for the optional captain's chairs in the second row, the Yukon will seat seven.
