Soda Springs GMC Dealer
Full-size trucks like the GMC Sierra 1500 meet the needs of many buyers, but some customers of the Soda Springs GMC dealer don't want the large size and heavier weight of vehicles in this class. That's where the midsize 2022 GMC Canyon comes in. The Canyon's smaller footprint makes it easier to get in and out of tight spaces than its larger stablemate. But Canyon owners don't have to give up capability. This truck's available diesel powerplant has a maximum tow rating of 7,7000 pounds. The range-topping Canyon Denali trim provides the ultimate luxury, making it an exceptional daily driver.
2022 GMC Canyon Trim Levels
According to the Soda Springs GMC dealership, the 2022 GMC Canyon is available in four trim levels: Elevation Standard, Elevation, AT4 and Denali. It comes in two- and four-seat extended-cab configurations as well as a five-seat crew cab. Four-wheel drive is standard in the AT4 trim. The other models get standard rear-wheel drive and optional four-wheel drive.
The 2022 Canyon has three engine offerings:
- The Elevation Standard and Elevation trims with rear-wheel drive are equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 200 horsepower and 191 lb-ft of torque, connected to a six-speed automatic transmission.
- The other models are powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine good for 308 hp and 275 lb-ft, linked to an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
- The Elevation, AT4 and Denali trims have an optional 2.8-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder engine that puts out 181 hp and 369 lb-ft, paired to a six-speed automatic. This powerplant is the most fuel-efficient of the lineup, with an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 20 mpg city/30 mpg highway with two-wheel drive and 19 mpg city/28 mpg highway for four-wheel-drive models.*
